Author : M. KOLESNYK, O. HAVRYLOVA, K. ZAKON’ |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The role of BNP and NT-pro-BNP in cardiac failure diagnostic in general population was established. But patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) have elevated levels of natriuretic peptides in basic. Prognostic value of these peptides in ESRD population was unknown. Recent studies have shown that BNP and NT-pro-BNP are good predictors of all cause mortality and cardio-vascular diseases among patients with ESRD, but the cut-off value of natriuretic peptides is main theme of discussion. |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : Activation of lipid peroxidation processes (LP), coupled?with violations of nitric oxide (NO) metabolism of is one of the renal?parenchyma damage mechanisms in chronic kidney disease (CKD). In 84 patients with CKD the?influence?of modern combined treatment on indicators, characterizing?the state of pro-, antioxidant system (AOS) and NO?metabolism?were studied. Significantly increased levels of LP end products and decreased AOS activity in patients with CKD,?most expressed in patients with chronic glomerulonephritis, were revealed. Nitric oxide metabolism disturbances in patients with CKD was characterized by falling of endothelial coupled with increase of system NO synthesis. Integrative treatment of patients with CKD provides significant nephroprotective effect and contributes to restore the balance in the LP/AOS system and indicators, characterized NO metabolism. |

ROLE OF CELL HYPOXIA IN CHRONIC GLOMERULONEPHRITIS PROGRESSION IN CHILDREN |
Author : MAIDANNYK V.G., BURLAKA E.A., BAGDASAROVA I.V., FOMINA S.P. |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Indicators of chronic inflammation, cellular hypoxia and apoptosis were studied in 48 nephrotic children. It was found that the disease course is accompanied by increased speed of superoxide radical-anions generation by neutrophilic granulocytes, increased levels of hypoxia-induced factor HIF-1a and decreased expression of antiapoptotic factor Bcl-xL. Detected changes significantly depended on the degree of proteinuria and declining of glomerular filtration rate. Utility of studied parameters was proved as predictors of unfavorable disease course. The mechanism of progression of hypoxia-induced renal damage in children with nephrotic syndrome was presented. |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The new method of examination of patients with kidney diseases was developed and proposed for implementation in nephrology practice – the determination of adsorptive and rheological properties of urine, which are depend on the age and sex of people. Physical-chemical parameters of urine (dynamic surface tension, viscoelasticity, surface elasticity and viscosity, angle inclination and phase angle of tenzioreogramms) correlate with each other and with separate rates of serum, and sexual dimorphism of these relationships regards to the interfacial activity in the short-lived surfaces and the integral coefficient of the adsorption. |

COMPLEX RADIONUCLIDE EVALUATION OF STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL KIDNEY`S DISORDERS OF CHILDREN WITH ACUTE PYELONEPHRITIS IN THE DYNAMIC OF PATHOLOGY PROCESS |
Author : V.U.KUNDIN |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : Children`s acute pyelonephritis (APN) is the most important and difficult among microbes-inflammatory kidney`s deceases. Kidney`s APN functional disorders are evaluated generally by clinical and laboratory criteria which not always have high informativity. Scintigraphic kidney`s examinations with nephrothropic radiopharmaceuticals (NRP) are more informative. Materials and methods. 93 children (range 5-16 years) with APN were examined with different NRP. 45 from them were in acute stage of disease and 48 – in remission. Scintigraphic examinations were being made on gamma-camera «SPECT-1» with using of NRP 99mTc-DTPA, 99mTc-pyrophosphate, 99mTc-MAG3, 99mTc-EC, 99mTc-DMSA. Results. Hemodynamic changes in APN are presented signs of the venous stagnation by parenchyma. Retention of NRP in the kidney`s parenchyma and deceleration of excretory processes testify about the main process in parenchyma. Kidney`s filtration disorders have all patients in all stages of APN with disorders of both kidneys. 40,8% patients have inflammation sites in the kidneys parenchyma. Conclusion. The most informative are 99mTc-DTPA and 99mTc-pyrophosphate for initial examinations, 99mTc-MAG3 and 99mTc-DMSA for monitoring examinations. |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :A research purpose consisted in the study of evolution of chronic kidney disease with forming kidney insufficiency at HIV-infected of patients in the stage of AIDS. We are analyses the basic indexes of blood clinical and laboratorial date with state azotemia and glomerular filtration (SGF) at 119 patients when being on stationary treatment of Odessa regional Center of the prophylactic and struggle against AIDS. The presence of signs of urinary syndrome was marked in 82% cases just as the increase of level of creatinine of blood was registered at 32,77% patients. Decline of SGF less than 60 ml/minute took a place at 57,14% patients with hyper?reatinemia. So in patients AIDS is mark forming of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Thus what are more lingering sick patients the higher azotemia and the below SGF and as a result kidney insufficiency develops quickly, its development comes on the average for 7,94±0,92 years. |
